• Why Maison Courtot instead of ready to wear ? 

Currently, ready to wear has greatly diversified and offers a wide range of cuts and fabrics. Nevertheless, many are forced to compromise on their purchases because no one has the same proportions and tastes.

Wether you want a chic or casual look, the shirt is for us the main element in the male wardrobe and, after takeout jacket, it sets the tone to your outfit. Transcribe your personality and originality with visible or discrete details, you only had master, is our Golden Rule in Maison Courtot. This will be your own signature and you are not subject to put this decision in the hands of a brand of ready to wear.

We will support you in your choices and your questions to find your happiness quickly adapted to the circumstances and lifestyle of each. Beyon the cut and the fabric, you can choose anything, the neck wrists, throat (where the buttons are), the pocket, embroidery and location, placement and spacing of the buttons, the style and color thereof, hand finishing, fine stitching, a second fabric inside collars and cuffs, etc ... so many details that will make your piece unique!

 

• How it goes for the first time  ?

No appointment needed, La Maison Courtot welcomes you for your first visit. Take some time (at least 30 minutes). First we will take your measurements, then you can present your project and we will discuss together to meet closer to your expectations. We give you appointment after 15 days, for your first fitting.

• I would like to order only one shirt ? 

There is no minimum order : you can order a single bespoke shirt.

 

• What are the timelines for sewing my shirt  ?

At Maison-Courtot, we plan a first fitting 15 days after the measurement, and you will have your shirt after 15 extra days.

We can made accomodation in case of special event or if you are only visiting Paris.

We can, also, send your order by parcel post.

 

• Do you replace the cuffs and th collar of old shirts (Courtot shirts or other brands) ?

Of course, we make the replacement of cuffs and collar, but we can also change other parts of the shirt. Consult our price page for more informations.

 

• Do you keep our measurement ? 

Yes, we keep your measurement for aye. Each customer has his own pattern and we modify it depending of your changing morphology or of the modification you want to do on it.

 

• How to maintain our shirts ? 

All our fabrics are decatised before cutting, that is to say they are washed at very high temperatures to stop the reduction of the fabric. For this reason we recommend washing your shirts at 30 ° or 40 ° with clothes of the same color. Also, for ironing if your collars and cuffs are not heat-bonded, make sure to iron from the outside to the inside. Finally, when selecting your laundry detergents, we recommend that you choose liquid detergent for colors and powdered laundry detergent for white fabrics.
